The California Rural Indian Health Board has funding to assist with childcare costs for enrolled MPA families. The CCDF program is a federal child care subsidy program designed to assist Tribal families returning to work or school by helping pay for partial or 100 percent of childcare costs. Parents are free to choose from any type of childcare setting. To be eligible for the CCDF program, a Tribal family must be a member of one of the 15 CRIHB CCDF Consortium Tribes, either working or attending school, and their child’s age starts from birth to 12 years of age. As of 2023, the program no longer requires income as an eligibility criteria, per the CCDF federal regulations.
If you are in need of financial assistance for childcare, please reach out to the CCDF team. Their contact info is listed on the flyers above.
